GOAT currently ships under two models to non-US buyers: delivered duties unpaid (DDU) and delivered duties paid (DDP). Please review the below for more details about how sales tax, VAT, and duties are calculated under each shipping model.
DELIVERED DUTIES UNPAID (DDU)
GOAT currently ships DDU for certain international deliveries. GOAT will declare the price that was paid for customs purposes. Buyers are responsible for the applicable customs duties and taxes that are billed by their respective countries of residence. This means that you are responsible for all duties and taxes at time of delivery and GOAT does not collect any duties and taxes upfront because the carrier will collect them at the time of delivery. If you do not see your country listed in the various DDP models below, then your order will likely fall into this category.
For orders shipped to Saudi Arabia, please see this FAQ. GOAT currently ships DDU to Saudi Arabia.
DELIVERED DUTIES PAID (DDP)
Under the DDP model, applicable duties and taxes are collected at checkout. GOAT collects all duties (when applicable) and taxes from the buyer at the time the purchase is made for orders that meet the descriptions listed below with a delivery address in the relevant country.
